Dean Rush teaches on ethical standards in business and life. Dean was raised on a farm in the Midwest and learned to fly at an early age.
In the Air Force he served as a pilot, test pilot, and Special Forces operations pilot during the Vietnam conflict. (Hallmark: ~11 years as a U.S. Air Force pilot; also noted elsewhere historically as an instructor / exchange pilot with Canadian Forces.)
After leaving the Air Force Dean co-founded Emerald Airlines and has been involved in ownership of a number of small businesses / aviation businesses. Before retiring he served as president of some of the largest jet sales companies in the world. Following 9/11 he served on the Aviation Security Task Force (site: "Aviation Security Task Force"; other bios say President's Aviation Security Task Force). After retirement from the corporate world he attended seminary.

He has been a long-term trustee with Hallmark University, a Christian-based, non-profit, accredited university (Hallmark page title: Vice-Chairman).
Dean has been married for 56 years to his wife Vickie (Hallmark: "over 51 years"), has two children, and four grandchildren.
