# Dean Rush

**Scripture on the leadership page:** Deuteronomy 31:6 — *"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."*

Dean Rush teaches on ethical standards in business and life. Dean was raised on a farm in the Midwest and learned to fly at an early age.

In the Air Force he served as a pilot, test pilot, and Special Forces operations pilot during the Vietnam conflict. (Hallmark: ~11 years as a U.S. Air Force pilot; also noted elsewhere historically as an instructor / exchange pilot with Canadian Forces.)

After leaving the Air Force Dean co-founded Emerald Airlines and has been involved in ownership of a number of small businesses / aviation businesses. Before retiring he served as president of some of the largest jet sales companies in the world. Following 9/11 he served on the Aviation Security Task Force (site: "Aviation Security Task Force"; other bios say President's Aviation Security Task Force). After retirement from the corporate world he attended seminary.

(Hallmark adds: worked with American Airlines and Signature Flight Support; retired as president of Fairchild Dornier, an aircraft manufacturing company; spent 15 years as an executive pastor; serves as executive director of Faith Breakthroughs, a non-profit whose objective is to get Christ into the home and workplace; works with organizations nationwide on biblical principles in business.)

### Education

- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology — DePauw University
- Masters in Public Administration (and Business Administration, per site wording) — Golden Gate University
- Masters in Religious Studies — Liberty University

He has been a long-term trustee with Hallmark University, a Christian-based, non-profit, accredited university (Hallmark page title: Vice-Chairman).

Dean has been married for 56 years to his wife Vickie (Hallmark: "over 51 years"), has two children, and four grandchildren.

**Dean’s major calling now is to help YOU get Christ into the Workplace!**
